Hanging over the boulder, from the center of the ceiling chandelier is a stainless steel reflective plumb bob that replicates a Foucault pendulum. In 1851, Jean Foucault demonstrated the rotation of the earth around its axis using what became known as a Foucault pendulum. THe three chameleons are cast in different materials, each treated to look like the surface it sits upon.
